LIFE.. Meaningless
For what is the fragrance of a flower
when no one even seems to bother?
What then is the cunning beauty of a rose
when all we do is complain of its thorns?
For what is the thrill of a preciously-wrapped gift
when guesses are all we know of what’s inside it?
What then is the splendor of genuine love
when hidden affection is all we have?
For what is the brilliant flame of a candle
when its hidden under the shade of the table?
What then are the talents that on us God bestowed
when we cave in, scared to face to the world?
For what is the glory of the sunset
when we’re looking down, missed a glimpse of it?
What then could we expect from this beautiful world
when we go through each day with a tainted mood?
For what are the blessings that The One above will pour out
when all we could see are dark clouds of doubts?
What then is the rising hope of tomorrow
when the rays of zeal had faded long ago?
For what are the treasures that on this earth we store
when we’ll be leaving them behind when our heart beats no more?
What then is this life worth living for
when you’re asked, “Where will you spend eternity?”, you can’t be sure?
For what is the meaning of everthing?
When it’s not for God’s glory, it’s nothing but vain.
Meaningless, meaningless..
Absolutely meaningless…
Unless..
We are living in an uncertain world. Life is short, dreams seem far, end looks so near. How then could we make our lives worthwhile? Forgetting ourselves, reaching out to others, letting go and letting God… Eternity is something we could look forward to if we know where we will be spending it. To anyone who needs assurance, a friend, a healer, a comforter, a Saviour, a God…I’ll be willing to share my God with you.
