A DECEPTIVE TERM
The term “Clash of Civilizations” initially used by the co writers Bernard Lewis and Samuel Huntington in their world famous book “Clash of Civilizations” is a deceptive term.
It has misleaded not only the common populace but over and above the new age bands and the big political authorities of the world. It has not only made swiftness to clash the West with the Muslim world but it has also positively portrayed and justified the western political authorities in advance to evade the Muslim countries like Afghanistan and Iraq.
The term Clash of Civilization appeared from a defensive emotional arrogance of the west to situate their superciliousness on the rest of the world. Civilization never clashes up on; it is the Culture which comes to blow through the Civilization.
After the decay of the USSR the Western thinkers formulated a self professed idea to protect their egotism and that is to let the people feel that Islam is the biggest threat to the world. This bogus idea has been generated to broaden their interest to rule the whole world or at least to protect their fading life style, which is on its last legs.
Samuel Huntington one of the co writers of the book “The clash of civilization” wrote: “The underlying problem for the West is not Islamic fundamentalism, IT IS ISLAM, a different civilization whose people are convinced of the superiority of their culture and are obsessed with the inferiority of their power”
The writer undoubtedly spoke the truth when he said that Muslims are convinced of the superiority of their culture. No doubt, that the Muslims who know their religion are undeniably convinced of its superiority to the whole existing culture and religions in the world and they never look greedily to the western life style despite their dependence on the west for the materialistic means. The Muslim’s reliance up on their cultural superiority consequentially challenges the western thinkers and plunks them into inferior complexity that being superior in the power and having a free sexual society and a freelance civilization, why a different civilization like ISLAM still exits on the globe and undermine them.
On the other hand the western thinkers and sociologist believe that despite being inferior in power the Muslims and their culture are absolutely superior to the rest of the culture in the world as it dealt with the entire human relations, it covers and safe guards all the individual interests with man to man, neighbor to neighbor, husband to the wife, father to the children and son to the parent, as long as the relations between man and the God. Islam safeguards the feminine entity of a woman. The righteousness, morals and ethics in Islam (if it is in practice) is more powerful than any kind of materialistic power, and it can conquer the heart of all of its contemporary civilizations, if it is demonstrated in action.
Islam is not a “different” culture or a “different” civilization confronting to a “different” humanity, but it is itself the grace and reward to the humanity. It is ought to work for the peace of humanity. It has been revealed to maintain peace to the mankind. Truthfulness realities, righteousness, morals and ethics never pose threat to any one in the world except to the evil and devil. The humanity and the mankind boom in truthfulness, honesty, virtue and justice to which Islam is the main architect. How can Islam be a threat to world?
The trueness is this that the real practical Islam is veiled. It is covered with the unreal; miss practiced, moderated, and westernized Islam. The Muslims look for help to west not Allah. They believe that the solution to their problems is in the hand of America. See the faces of Palestinians, you will find less than one percent of them having the Sunnah of Prophet Mohammad (peace be on him) on their face and body. You will find the majority of them wearing western style cloths, then for what they are fitting for? What an irony, at the macro level we Muslims want to defeat the western civilization but at the micro level we follow the same western civilization? This duality will never attract any body to embarrass Islam. So the prime underlying effort for the Muslims is firstly to unveil Islam. As far as Islam will be unveiled it will spread in to the whole world and no any civilization can dare to stay in its way. The “war” of Islam with the west and the rest in the future can only be won by ethics not by weapons. The groups who think that through targeting some of the interests of “west” they will bring Islam to power are unwise, irrational and at the wrong.
